The popularity of baby names can be influenced by their use by celebrities. This can result in so quite unusual names getting onto the popular name list as is the tendency of celebrities to go for something a little out of the ordinary. However, not all of the names associated with celebrities are desirable. Check these examples.
Serial Unusual Baby Namer
Angelina Jolie is well known for her unusual baby names. She has six children. She adopted a boy in 2002 who she named Maddox Chivan. She adopted again in 2005, a girl from Ethiopia who she named Zahara Marley. Less than a year later Angelina gave birth to Shiloh Nouvel, then early in 2007, Angelina and Brad adopted a boy from Vietnam for whom they chose the name Pax Thien. In 2008 Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were parents again, this time she gave both to twins, a boy and a girl. The boy is named Knox Léon Jolie-Pitt and the girl is named Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt.
Whacky Yates
Sometimes it becomes obvious who is the instigator of the unusual baby names. Paula Yates and Bob Geldof had baby daughters Fifi-Trixibelle, Peaches, Little Trixie, and Honeyblossom. The Paula had a daughter with INXS singer Michael Hutchence, who they called Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily.
Same Letter
Former Arkansas state representative and U.S. senate candidate Jim Bob Duggar and his wife Michelle have named each of their children beginning with J. Their newest daughter will be named Jennifer. The Duggars' other children are Joshua, John David, Jana, Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joseph, Josiah, Joy, Jeremiah, Jedidiah, Jason, James, Justin, Jackson, and Johanna.
