It is important to keep your body in shape during pregnancy to better cope with the demands on the body while carrying a baby and also to prepare you for the physical stresses of labor.
Here are some tips for exercising while pregnant
- start gradually
- warm up first
- drink plenty of water
- do low impact exercise
- wear comfortable and appropriate footwear
- wear a supportive bra
- eat regular meals and snacks, and choose nutrient dense food
